As with most places on earth, Munich residents were touched by the death of pop king, Michael Jackson. A make-shift memorial was set up across from the Bayershirhof Hotel in Promanadenplatz. Im Hotel "Bayerischer Hof" steigen die VIP ab. So wie ich mich erinnere, waren z.B. die Beatles hier. Und die FANS belagerten das Hotel tagelang. Ich nehme an, auch M. J. hat hier gewohnt. Ich habe eine dunkle Erinnerung, dass er in München war und sogar, dass er einen Besuch im Rathaus machte. Ich stand (zufällig) am Marienplatz und habe ihn auf dem Rathausbalkon gesehen. Fantasie oder Erinnerung? Ich weiß es nicht mehr....
