Kirchweihdult

It's that time of year again...

All week long the traditional Auer Dult festival runs, despite the cold and occasional rain. The good news is the glühwein and hot chocolate are a great way to break in the season.

Never heard of this holiday before, is it regional to Munich or all over Germany!

It's a Munich festival that's been going on for 700 years. It happens 3 times a year under different names at Mariahilfplatz. There's a mix of antiques, ceramics, kitchen gadgets, and festival foods.
