The silver lining to the city's network strike are the updated machines that have been in use for the past few weeks. They are a much needed change for travelers and tourists who can now efficiently enter the subway stop they are traveling to without the complex calculating of rings and zones. It makes me curious how many people will soon learn they were paying more than necessary for transportation. Hopefully all of the MVV changes can happen swiftly and happily so we can get back to having such an efficient system.
